Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Consumer right of withdrawal (B2C)

Consumers domiciled in the EU, EEA, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom have the right to withdraw from the contract within fourteen (14) days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period begins on the day the contract is concluded. To exercise your right, please contact our Merchant of Record:

1.1 Consequences of withdrawal

On valid withdrawal, amounts already paid will be refunded within fourteen (14) days using the original payment method.

1.2 Loss of withdrawal right

For digital content not delivered on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal expires when you have expressly agreed that the contract may be performed before the withdrawal period ends and you have acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal upon commencement of performance.

In practice: as soon as you use a feature reserved for paying customers (e.g. a premium catalog or a Studio-only feature) after the paid checkout, you confirm the start of performance. Until then, the full 14-day right of withdrawal applies.

2. Business (B2B) refund policy

Customers acting in their commercial or professional capacity (B2B) have no statutory right of withdrawal. The following refund rules apply:

  • Trial phase (free): no risk – no automatic switch to a paid plan without explicit confirmation.
  • First 14 days after payment: full refund on request, provided you have not run more than one validation in a paid plan.
  • After 14 days: no refund for the current billing period. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
  • Annual plans: no pro-rata refunds in principle; on a goodwill basis we may grant a pro-rata refund if the cancellation is due to our fault (e.g. sustained service outages).

3. Paddle-specific terms

Refunds are processed exclusively by Paddle.com Market Ltd. as Merchant of Record. The Paddle Refund Policy and Paddle Buyer Terms also apply. In particular:

  • Paddle reserves a discretionary refund window of 14 days from the transaction date.
  • For subscription renewals, withdrawal is only possible for the first payment of the new period within 14 days; refunds for unused periods are generally not granted.
  • Chargebacks without prior contact may result in immediate account suspension.

4. Out-of-court dispute resolution

Consumers may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body.
