About IFCLint.
IFCLint is a product brand of Enertec Engineering AG — a Swiss engineering company for measurement technology, monitoring and technical quality assurance.
A Swiss engineering company since 2001.
Since 2001, Enertec Engineering AG has supplied measurement technology, load cells and monitoring systems for structures and industrial applications. More than 200 projects in geotechnics, tunnel and bridge construction document the technical depth: Danube Bridge Linz, Auerberg Tunnel, Schilthorn cableway, Swiss Re Mythenquai. What these projects have in common is a way of working: precise measurement data, traceable validation processes, reliable documentation. We carry that discipline into IFCLint.

Why we build IFCLint.
In classic structural projects we have learned one thing: data is only valuable when it has been verifiably checked. A measuring point whose calibration is missing is, in case of doubt, worth less than no measurement at all — because it suggests an accuracy that is not backed up.
The same problem arises in BIM projects on a digital level. IFC models are delivered, but no one can say with reasonable effort whether the model data meets the requirements. IFCLint closes that gap: checkable requirements, IFC validation against IDS rules, traceable reports and BCF workflows. Developed out of practice, not out of a marketing department.
What IFCLint can do today.
As of today, IFCLint validates:
- IFC models (versions 2x3, 4, 4.3)
- against IDS 1.0 rule sets
- including Bimtester / Gherkin rules where IDS alone is not enough
- with a graphical rule builder in the browser
- with BCF export for coordination workflows
- with a property editor for direct corrections
Plus three product-adjacent services for practical work: IFC Health Check, AIA/BAP → IDS, and the BIM Quality Gate Pilot.
To the features ↓What we don't currently promise.
Sensor-to-BIM, monitoring models, digital twins, full BIM coordination across all disciplines — these are appealing topics. But today they are not part of our standard offering. We prefer what we can deliver cleanly over what we could promise. Once we have stably established IFC model validation and checkable requirements, we will expand carefully.
Let's talk.
